Chapter 29

The Bubble Shower Room

The morning sky stretched endlessly above Moo66.

Soft clouds drifted across the horizon while the first rays of sunlight painted the desert cliffs in gold.

Usinomics had left the house early.

There was something peaceful about walking before the world fully awakened.

The roads were quiet.

The breeze was cool.

Even the distant animals seemed slower, as if they too were enjoying the calm beginning of another day.

Then something unusual caught his eye.

Floating above the grass was a gift box.

Not resting on the ground.

Floating.

Suspended inside a shimmering bubble.

A bright ribbon wrapped around the box as it gently bounced through the air.

Usinomics blinked.

Then blinked again.

The box remained exactly where it was.

“Huh.”

He jumped.

The bubble drifted lower.

A second jump.

His fingertips brushed the ribbon.

The bubble burst with a soft pop.

The gift landed neatly in his hands.

Inside was something he had wanted for a very long time.

A shower room.

For a moment, Usinomics simply stared at it.

Then a grin slowly appeared across his face.

Finally.

A real shower.

Not a dream.

Not a rumor.

Not a future furniture catalog item.

An actual shower room.

Back at Moo66, installation took only moments.

The system automatically connected the plumbing.

Fresh water.

Wastewater.

Everything synchronized through the mysterious infrastructure that somehow existed throughout the world.

The technology was almost magical.

Curious, Usinomics immediately turned the handle.

Warm water flowed from above.

Crystal clear.

Clean.

Pure.

A small purification system was built directly into the unit.

The water was so fresh that it seemed safe enough to drink.

Steam rose gently into the air.

The scent was subtle and refreshing.

The floor beneath contained a perfectly designed drain.

Water spiraled downward in smooth circles before disappearing into the hidden system below.

Simple.

Elegant.

Efficient.

For several moments, Usinomics simply stood beneath the water.

After weeks of adventures, quests, and construction projects, it felt surprisingly luxurious.

As if civilization itself had quietly arrived at Moo66.

When he finally stepped outside, he felt completely renewed.

The desert wind carried a faint fragrance from the soap.

His mood was lighter.

His energy had returned.

And so he climbed into his vehicle and headed toward the marten feeding grounds.

The animals were already waiting.

At least, that was what it felt like.

Near the feeding area sat a small cardboard-colored box.

A green ribbon was tied around it.

Usinomics picked it up.

Inside were several nuts.

Simple forest nuts.

Nothing expensive.

Nothing rare.

Yet somehow the gift felt valuable.

The marten could have eaten them.

Food was important in nature.

Every resource mattered.

And yet the animal had chosen to share.

Usinomics smiled.

“You’re surprisingly thoughtful.”

The world around Moo66 seemed different from many places he had known.

Kindness appeared everywhere.

Not because anyone was required to be kind.

Not because there were rules.

People simply chose to be.

Animals too.

It was a small thing.

A few nuts inside a box.

Yet somehow it felt larger than many expensive gifts.

Later that day, Usinomics returned home.

The ice-skating rink waited nearby.

Its smooth frozen surface stretched nearly twenty-five meters from one end to the other.

The daily skating challenge remained unfinished.

Today would be another attempt.

He stepped onto the ice.

The first few laps felt easy.

Then came the tricks.

Turns.

Spins.

Timing.

Precision.

That was where everything became difficult.

The challenge system demanded a sequence of actions performed in perfect rhythm.

Usinomics understood part of it.

But not enough.

A triple turn here.

A successful spin there.

Then failure.

Again.

And again.

And again.

The score increased slowly.

Not through talent.

Not through elegance.

But through persistence.

Eventually he stopped near the edge of the rink and laughed.

“I still have no idea what I’m doing.”

The rink, however, seemed unwilling to judge him.

After resting, he drove into town.

His first destination was obvious.

The furniture store.

Specifically, the section containing bathroom fixtures.

More specifically—

The toilet section.

He searched carefully.

Nothing.

Still no toilet.

The legendary missing piece of Moo66 civilization remained unavailable.

Usinomics sighed.

One day.

Perhaps.

Maybe.

Hopefully.

He left the store and wandered next door into the boutique.

New clothing had arrived.

Unfortunately, none of it matched his taste.

A few minutes later he found himself inside the pet shop instead.

Ten bags of cat food disappeared into his inventory.

A practical purchase.

Unlike the nonexistent toilet.

His next stop brought him to an apartment building.

A resident living on the second floor was known for loving wild birds.

As Usinomics approached, a concern entered his mind.

The resident used a wheelchair.

How did they reach the second floor?

Looking closer, he found the answer.

An elevator.

Simple.

Accessible.

Thoughtful design.

No caretaker stood nearby.

The resident lived independently.

Usinomics admired that.

Inside, he presented several bird photography cards.

Some were excellent.

Some were average.

Some had technically failed every imaginable photography standard.

The resident accepted them all with gratitude.

The best cards were always the same.

Birds striking unique poses.

Birds caught at precisely the right moment.

The secret, Usinomics had learned, was simple.

Take far too many photographs.

Eventually one would succeed.

The resident laughed.

Usinomics waved.

The resident waved back.

The exchange lasted only a few minutes.

Yet it felt meaningful.

When he left, a new mission formed inside his mind.

Collect more bird cards.

Not because anyone requested them.

Simply because someone enjoyed receiving them.

Evening approached.

Back at Moo66, another idea emerged.

Construction.

Again.

Usinomics gathered materials and began crafting.

Soon a familiar shape appeared.

A spring rider.

The kind found in parks.

The kind children rode while imagining impossible adventures.

He built one in sky blue.

Then placed it beside the flowerbeds near the bicycle parking area.

For safety testing purposes, he naturally volunteered himself.

The spring compressed.

Released.

Bounced.

Forward.

Backward.

Forward.

Backward.

The motion became surprisingly enjoyable.

Usinomics laughed.

“It feels like a tiny amusement park.”

A pink version might look nice beside it.

A matching pair.

Perhaps later.

Just then a notification appeared.

A quest.

The lighthouse.

Without hesitation he departed.

The lighthouse keeper explained several complicated objectives involving local requests, exploration goals, and various details that somehow disappeared from Usinomics’s memory almost immediately.

He nodded anyway.

As one does.

The quest completed.

That was the important part.

Before returning home, he made one final stop.

The animal feeding grounds.

The evening sky glowed with shades of purple and gold.

Animals wandered peacefully through the grasslands.

Usinomics approached carefully.

Interaction initiated.

Success.

The animal accepted the food.

Another success.

A gentle pat on the head.

No fear.

No resistance.

Only trust.

A small notification appeared.

Friendship increased.

Only slightly.

But enough.

Usinomics smiled as the creature happily finished its meal.

The number on the screen had changed.

Yet somehow that wasn’t what mattered.

The real reward was simpler.

The animals recognized him now.

Little by little.

Day by day.

The distance between species became smaller.

And beneath the quiet evening sky of Moo66, that felt like the greatest achievement of all.
