Usinomics finally solved one of the small mysteries of Moo66.

Every time a birdwatching quest was completed, the rewards included acorns… and birdseed.

For the longest time, Usinomics had searched everywhere, wondering where birdseed was sold.

The pet shop offered food for dogs, cats, and even wild animals.

There was none for birds.

The furniture store didn’t have any.

Neither did the clothing boutique.

It couldn’t even be crafted.

The answer had been hidden inside the quests all along.

On the second floor of the pet shop, a wheelchair-bound birdwatcher posted daily requests.

Since he could no longer travel long distances himself, the residents gladly accepted his assignments and photographed wild birds on his behalf.

Usinomics was one of those volunteers.

With a camera in hand, the journey began.

Unfortunately, wild birds were extremely cautious.

The moment Usinomics stepped too close…

they disappeared into the sky.

Only the birds around the lakes remained calm enough to photograph.

Flamingos, however, were another story.

They reacted instantly, so the safest way to photograph them was from the roadside before they noticed anyone approaching.

Listening to the birds was surprisingly entertaining.

Some chirped with high, cheerful voices.

Others sounded almost like elderly people having a conversation somewhere deep in the forest.

Instead of creating a peaceful atmosphere…

the sounds were so unusual that anyone would probably burst into laughter.

The quest required an entrance fee of 2,000 acorns.

Usinomics muttered.

Suddenly, acorns didn’t seem so expensive.

The event allowed participants to recruit other players.

Usinomics invited everyone nearby.

Because it was the middle of the day, only one woman joined the expedition.

Four minutes later…

the quest began.

The two silently searched the forest together.

Neither of them spoke.

Their mission was clear.

Photograph as many birds as possible before time expired.

To avoid frightening the wildlife, Usinomics equipped a special camouflage costume shaped like a leafy duck.

Only the bright yellow beak remained visible.

A red camera-equipped pair of binoculars rested firmly in both hands.

Step by step…

Usinomics slowly approached the birds.

Click.

Click.

Click-click-click.

Every photograph would someday become another story from the world of IMABURAI.

The camera shutter echoed continuously through the forest like an eager news photographer chasing a breaking story.

The other participant smiled quietly before changing into the same duck camouflage outfit.

Soon both of them were creeping through the bushes like two oversized walking plants with duck beaks.

Still…

not a single word was exchanged.

Only the sounds of cameras.

When the timer reached zero, the quest ended.

Usinomics reviewed hundreds of photographs before returning to the birdwatcher.

The reward was generous.

Acorns.

Birdseed.

Mission complete.

Usinomics smiled.

Then another thought appeared.

Technically…

they were still birds.

However, the system immediately displayed a warning.

Captive birds do not count toward quest completion.

Usinomics laughed awkwardly.

When Usinomics offered every photograph collected during the expedition, the birdwatcher gently declined.

Perhaps that collection would slowly grow over time.

Even someone who wasn’t especially passionate about birdwatching could appreciate the visitors that arrived at Moo66.

As long as there was birdseed…

the birds would continue returning.

And so Usinomics decided to refill every feeding station whenever supplies were available.

The duck camouflage suit, however, vanished the moment the quest timer expired.

A temporary tool.

Nothing more.

Having several of them would certainly make future quests much easier.

On the way home, Usinomics visited a beautifully decorated public house.

After leaving a positive rating…

watering the flowers…

and feeding the owner’s pets…

a treasure chest appeared.

Inside were several wonderful rewards.

Curious, Usinomics walked deeper into the house.

A glowing portal waited in the next room.

Without hesitation…

Usinomics stepped inside.

That was a mistake.

Every door locked shut.

The windows refused to open.

The elegant mansion contained a luxurious kitchen, a grand piano, expensive furniture, rare records, and shelves filled with trophies.

Yet there was no escape.

After searching every corner…

Usinomics simply collapsed onto the sofa.

Then called Leemai.

Leemai laughed.

Leemai smiled.

The two laughed together.

After restarting the communication terminal…

nothing changed.

Usinomics was still trapped.

Another restart.

Still trapped.

Eventually…

there was nothing left to do.

A slice of cheesecake waited inside the travel bag.

After finishing it…

Usinomics fell asleep on the sofa.

Some time later…





the system restarted once more.

This time…

Usinomics was standing safely outside the mansion.

Freedom at last.

Usinomics looked back at the mysterious house and laughed.

Climbing into the car, Usinomics drove back toward Moo66.

At the legal speed limit.

As always.
